The Vetus NSF16DS no-smell diesel filter helps prevent unpleasant diesel odours escaping through the breather line. Every marine fuel tank requires a breather line and the Vetus diesel odour filter allows for a compliant breather line but eliminates the smell of diesel thanks to the special odour-absorbing material in the filter element.
Diesel fuel and froth must not enter into the filter housing and its element. It is therefore highly recommended that the no-smell filter is installed in combination with the Vetus Splash-Stop. Spare elements are available and should be replaced every year. Vetus no smell filters are for use with diesel tanks only.
