The coiled end is screwed into the old packing, which can then be simply pulled out of the housing - making sure of course that you have first stopped the supply of liquid before hand! Use 807381 packing tool for gland packing sizes 6mm (1/4") and 8mm (5/16"). Use 807383 packing tool for gland packing sizes 10mm (3/8") and 13mm (1/2"). Use 807383 packing tool for gland packing sizes 16mm (5/8") and 19mm (3/4").
