Kus, Vetus and Osculati marine waste level gauges are designed to measure the waste water tank level. These gauges use European resistance senders or Vetus senders to give a visual display of waste water level to a gauge mounted in the boat dashboard. The European senders work by measuring the resistance in the tank and converting that to a level, where 180 ohms equals a full tank, 95 ohms is the mid point, and 10 ohms displays empty on the waste water gauge.
