Standard fixed engine exhaust outlets are usually found bolted to the engine exhaust manifold. The water injected exhaust outlet mixes the engine exhaust gas and raw water coolant before it enters into the flexible wet exhaust system.
Due to the mixing of exhaust gas and raw water in this component it is advisable to include an inspection of the exhaust system as part of your list of jobs before leaving port, as corrosion may occur over a period of time.
