Looking after your shaft is not the most exciting of jobs, but it is extremely important. Good quality packing and greasing is often all that stops your boat from filling up with water. If you don't have a maintenance free shaft seal (like a PSS Seal) then you need to ensure that inspection, lubrication and replacement of the shaft gland packing are on your regular maintenance sheet. Our gland packing is suitable for use as shaft gland packing, stern gland packing / stern tube packing applications.
