There are many different exhaust hose connectors available in today's market place, our range includes Centek GRP and Vetus plastic items.
Over the years, we have found that one of the most durable and corrosion resistant types are those made from GRP. The sulphur content in exhaust fumes, mixed with the sea water in the exhaust system can produce a mild acid that can, over time, attack stainless steel components, whilst plastic types may fail prematurely in overheat conditions. GRP products can offer better corrosion and overheat resistance, and for this reason, our range is changing to include more of this material.
The Centek GRP and Vetus exhaust components are suitable for use with wet exhaust systems only.
