The Seaflow straight hose tail fitting is made from brass. This hose tail connects a 1/8" NPT male threaded pipe to a 8mm hose connection and includes a hexagonal shoulder.
All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Brass is susceptible to dezincification and is not recommended for below waterline through hull applications.
