Victron BatteryProtect BP65 disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it becomes completely discharged. It can be set to disconnect at several different voltages and a digital display is built in to indicate what setting has been selected. An alarm signal is also built in that can be used for an external buzzer/warning light, this alarm is triggered 90 seconds before disconnect. The battery protector unit automatically detects the system voltage (12V/24V) and has over-voltage protection built in. Continuous load rating 65A.
NOTE: The battery protect can be used with all types of battery technology.
- Alarm output delay: 12 seconds
- Maximum load on alarm output: 50mA (short circuit proof)
- Load disconnect delay: 90 seconds (immediate if triggered by the VE.Bus BMS)
- Load reconnect delay: 30 seconds
