The Sherwood 23837 silicon seal is suitable for use with Sherwood 18000 pumps and the following Sherwood pumps: G18061-01, G18071-01, G18071X, G18081-01, G18082-01, G18082X, G2601-01, G2601X, G2602-01, G2603-01, G2603X, G2605-01, G2902-01, G2902X, G2904-01 and G2904X.
When replacing the mechanical seal in your pump, it is necessary to ensure the proper seal washer is used to avoid damage to the pump. Sherwood recommended that all pumps be upgraded with the silicon carbide mechanical seal 23837, with the following exceptions: G1810, G1810-01, G1810x, G1811-01, G1815-01, G1816-01, which can only be fitted with the 23512 seal.
