The Scout KM-3 marine masthead antenna is made with high performance and durability in mind. The VHF antenna is 100cm long, with a 1.4mm thick fibreglass whip which is foam injected and 100% waterproof. It features a high gloss, ice white finish with anti-UV filter to prevent colour deterioration.
The 3db antenna comes with a N female connector to optimise signal transmission quality, as well as a heavy duty 3mm thick electropolished stainless steel bracket for secure masthead installation.
Measuring only 100cm the KM-3 features the same performance as the 1.5m KS-22 antenna thanks to Scout's special tuning of the inner electrical system.
