The R&D compression flexible engine mounting is a competitive, low height, medium capacity mount giving good engine control.
Typical uses: 2 & 3 Cylinder Long Stroke, 1, 2 & 3 Cylinder Short Stroke High Speed, 4 Cylinder.
Compression mountings are lower in height and give reduced isolation compared to Shear and Super mountings. Clearance between the underside of the height adjusting nut and the top washer of the mounting should not be more than 9mm (0.375").
If required, increase the height with a spacer under the mount. The first adjusting nut adds approximately 10mm.
