Description
This Free-Fall kit is easy to retrofit to the GP2 1200 Quick windlass models and can be used with the existing gypsy. It allows the anchor chain to run freely through the gypsy by depressing the windlass ‘Down' button. This Free-Fall system acts as a clutch, releasing the gypsy allowing it to free wheel. When raising the anchor, simply press the windlass ‘Up' button and the Free-Fall clutch engages allowing the motor to drive the gypsy and retrieve the anchor. The Free-Fall can be manually locked allowing normal controlled anchor deployment using the motors normal ‘Down' operation.
