Description

The Mastervolt Battery Mate 1602 IG is a battery split charger / isolator to provide independent charging 2 batteries. Instead of conventional diode technology, which results in a voltage drop, the Battery Mate Isolator uses electronic technology which includes the use of mosfets (transistors). The components compensate for the voltage drop and ensure that charging output stays at the right voltage level. This ensures fast and complete charging of your batteries without having to make additional adjustments to the alternator. The units are made from corrosion proof materials, with all electronic components encased in synthetic materials. It also includes an LED to indicate that power input is active.
