High quality 10W-40 multi-grade engine oil specifically engineered for use in canal boats, including Shire engines 2005 onwards and Yanmar TNV series marine engines. Additives have been optimised to prevent bore glazing or bore polishing, whilst keeping engine components clean and protecting them from wear and corrosion. Where SAE 15W-40 may be required, SAE 10W-40 can be used as it will flow more rapidly at low temperatures providing improved component protection.
