The Maestrini equal nipple connection is made from bronze. This material is tough and corrosion resistant making it suitable for exposure to sea water. This hex nipple is used to connect two pieces of equal sized pipe. The equal nipple has 3" BSP Tapered Male threaded connections.
Please Note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion. Bronze is highly suitable for below waterline through hull applications.
