The Maestrini 405729 ball valve body is constructed from bronze with a stainless steel handle. This ball valve is suitable for hot water, steam, gasoline, fuel, oil, gas oil, kerosene and compressed air. The bronze body ball valve has a 2.5" threaded BSP Female port each end as well as a lever handle on top which requires a 1/4 turn. The stainless lever handle comes with a rubber grip cover.
Depending on the application and installation requirements, these bronze body ball valves may not be suitable for below waterline applications.
All fittings used for below the waterline applications must be correctly fitted and bonded so as to minimise the risk of electrolytic action.
