The Jabsco 11979-0001B flexible neoprene impeller has 8 impeller blades and is supplied as an impeller kit, with seal and O-ring. This impeller kit is suitable for the following Jabsco engine cooling pumps: 10170-0011, 17200-0001, 17380-0001, 17380-0011, 17380-0021, 17380-0031, 18930-0000, 18930-0010, 18930-0020 and 18940-0010.
The Jabsco neoprene flexible impellers are used for pumping fresh or salt water, neoprene impellers are the most commonly used material and is suitable for use where only small amounts of oil or diesel fuel are present.
Jabsco flexible impellers are subjected to rigorous quality processes to ensure reliable, efficient and long lasting performance.
You should replace your flexible pump impellers at least once every year or sooner depending on use. When the installation is correct an impeller may last for several years, but it is always advisable to stick to a schedule of preventative rather than corrective maintenance.
