Faria Beede pitot unit to record boat speed through water. The pitot unit is connected to the transom and falls into the water. The probe senses the variation in water pressure and converts this to a reading on the speedometer (when transferred with a pitot tube). Greater speeds cause higher pressure and this pressure causes the needle in the speedo to move.
Only suitable for use with Pitot type marine speedometers.
Includes 1 x pitot unit plus mounting hardware.
