The spin-on oil filter conversion kit is easy to use and eliminates your old cartridge element type oil filter, bowl and parts converting them to a modern replacement spin-on canister oil filter element which means less mess and less hassle.
The spin-on oil filter head is suitable for Perkins 4.108 and some 4.107 diesel engines, but some customers have also used this oil filter head on BMC 1.5 and BMC 2.52 applications. The filter head has a 3/4" UNF thread. Please check carefully the suitability of this filter conversion to you particular application. This filter head is not supplied with gaskets or bolts for mounting to the engine.
Please note: We recommend this product must be installed and tested by a competent, qualified marine engineer. No technical advice available for non-Perkins applications.
