Orange classical life ring made from Eltex with an expanded polyurethane inner. This life ring, also known as a life buoy or life belt, can be thrown to a person in the water to help prevent drowning by providing buoyancy in the water. The person can then be pulled to the safety of a boat or the shore by using the connecting ropes around the outside of the ring. The life ring features four reflective tapes which go around the ring to aid visibility in poor conditions.
This life ring is RINA approved for use with commercial boats.
