Replacement cam follower (also known as a tappet) for BMC 1.5 / Leyland 1500 B series based 4 cylinder diesel engines, such as the Thornycroft 90 and Newage Captain 1.5 boat engines.
These cam followers are fitted in the size of the engine. The camshaft lobes push on the bottom of the cam follower which then moves the pushrod to operate the valves via the valve rocker arm. Cam followers like these are also known as tappets.
You will need one cam follower tappet per valve, so that's 8 cam follower tappets per BMC 1.5 engine.
