Baileys chopped strand fibreglass matting comes as an 8 square foot / 300 gram high-quality emulsion bound chopped strand mat and is supplied in air sealed packaging. The top quality fibreglass matt is generally used for hand lay-up applications and is suitable for use with Baileys polyester resin, to repair leaks, cracks, splits and holes in fibreglass GRP.
Baileys recommend using 3 layers of matting for a strong repair. When cured each layer is approximately 0.8mm thick.
This glass fibre mat requires 500ml of laminating resin.
