This pack of 50 blue straight solder butt connectors comes from the AMC (Auto Marine Cables) range of heat shrink pre-insulated terminals. The blue sleeve colour signifies that the terminal will suit conductors between 1.5mm² and 2.5mm². The stripped wires are inserted into the terminal and heat is applied with a hot air gun. The solder flows connecting the cables and the adhesive lined heat shrink sleeve reduces to form a seal.
