Fender fitting kit used for attaching rope fenders to your canal boat. The fitting kit contains:
- 10x 6mm steel D shackles
- 2x Turnbuckles
- 1x 1 Metre of 5mm chain
- 2x 1 Metre of PVC protective tube
The PVC tube can be cut to size and slide over fender chains to protect your boats paintwork from the chain rubbing. This kit is typically used to will attach a long button fender on the stern and a V shaped bow fender on the front.
The steel turnbuckles attach to the two chains on the legs of the bow fender, and can be tightened to ensure bow fender sits correctly on your boats stem post.
