All hosing used for marine fuel must have an ISO7840 rating which means it conforms to fire safety regulations. Some people use copper pipe for their fuel lines which is fine, but copper can become brittle over time and is much harder to work with, whereas rubber hose can be shaped and routed more easily, especially when retro fitting.
A1 hoses are suitable for use throughout the system, including in enclosed areas where fuel vapours may build up, and are typically used for fuel lines running from the tank to the engine, or anywhere fuel is continuously present. A2 hoses are intended for use outside engine compartments and are generally recommended for applications such as vent lines to the tank where fuel is only present intermittently.

Sanitation hose is one of those things that is well worth paying extra for to save you having unwanted smells around your vessel. With the butyl rubber and non permeable option, you can be sure that the unwanted smells will be contained within the hose.

Hose clips are often referred to by the brand name of Jubilee clips. We can offer standard hose clips, high torque clips and superclamps.
