Designed to adapt an R&D flexible coupling to the back of a particular gearbox.
Each adaptor has two flanges, one to mate to the gearbox output coupling, and the other to mate to a standard R&D Marine flexible shaft coupling. Many coupling adaptors also extend the shaft so that the flexible coupling will clear the gearbox casing, oil pump or PTO.
