A simple sensor installed in the exhaust hose or exhaust muffler will detect a rise in the exhaust gas temperature, caused by a reduction or loss of cooling water. The Vetus exhaust alarm provides an audible and visual warning of this temperature increase.
The gauge and sensor are sold separately, depending on voltage and sensor mounting required. 12 volt and 24 volt options are available, in addition to hose mount or muffler mount senders.
Two sensors may be connected to one alarm for (e.g. twin engines) and two alarms may be connected to one sensor (e.g. dual station).
These temperature alarms are designed for water injected exhaust systems.
