Many marine engines are fitted with internal zinc anodes to protect the dissimilar metals of heat exchangers, coolers and casings from electrolytic corrosion. While many engine and equipment manufacturers have their own special anodes, if you can not find the exact pencil anode for the job or just want to add a pencil anode, we have a range of universal zinc pencil anodes and threaded adaptor plugs to help.
