Spring loaded crocodile clips, also known as croc clips from the ASAP Electrical range, used to form temporary electrical connections as well as being useful in many other every day scenarios. These crocodile clips are made from plated steel.
With gripping teeth similar to the jaw of a crocodile or alligator, these clips grip onto objects because of the spring loaded mechanism. When used in electronics, the wire or cable will connect to one jaw of the clip through either crimping or soldering, and this can then be connected to various different objects quickly and easily.
