This element fits the 155065 oil filter conversion available for the Ford 2711/2712E, Ford 2714 & 2715E and Thornycroft 250/251 engines.

Popular applications for the W 940/37 oil filter include the naturally aspirated Ford Dover based engines (2722E and 2725E), Ford Dorset based engines (2711, 2712E, 2714 and 2715E) and 2720E, 2723E, 2726T/TM and 2728E/TIM diesel engines. These engines were marinised by Thornycroft engines as the Thornycroft 250, 251 and 381 boat engines.
