This plastic Vetus exhaust gas separator is designed to separate the exhaust gas from the injected raw cooling water in a marine exhaust system. It also performs all the functions of a gooseneck as well as helping to muffle the noise within the exhaust system.
A stainless steel mounting strap with synthetic straps is also supplied to secure the exhaust gas separator. The inlet and outlet exhaust hose connectors also rotate through 360° to allow flexibility in installation.
Please Note: Vetus exhaust components are made from plastic and must only be fitted into wet exhaust systems. Maximum temperature should not exceed 70°C, otherwise the exhaust components may be damaged.
