The Jabsco 2907-0001 cam plate is the same as the Jabsco USA part number 2907-0000 cam and will replace Johnson 01-45288 cams.
The cam plate, often referred to as a comb plate deforms the flexible impeller blades to create a flow of liquid inside the pump. The cam plate is a wearing part inside of the pump and should be inspected regularly and replaced when needed to maintain pump performance.
