Under government regulations issued in January 2007 we are all obliged to reduce the amount of waste on certain electrical and electronic equipment.

A.S.A.P. Supplies are a responsible supplier of items covered by the EU Directive on WEEE (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment). The range of included items is vast, but in our case it mainly includes fluorescent lighting and items with electrical circuit boards however we also recycle our own batteries, CDs and printer/toner cartridges.

For your part as the customer you are encouraged to examine your electrical waste to see if the following logo is present.

If the logo is present on your electrical waste please do not throw it in your household waste as some chemicals and metals within these electrical items can be harmful to the soil and human health when disposed of in landfill sites.

Please take any waste displaying the above logo to your nearest Designated Collection Facility (DCF) where special facilities exist for correct disposal of electrical waste. To find your nearest DCF please visit the Recycle More website.
