Quietlife 112 Exhaust Silencers - Medium Duty. The Quietlife 112 series of dry exhaust silencers are made from welded steel and are rated medium duty for noise absorption. These silencers are constructed on the sound absorption principle. The gases pass through a centre duct which is surrounded by sound absorbent material and is subjected to a minimal level of resistance. Quietlife 114 Exhaust Silencers - 'Residential'. The Quietlife 114 series of dry exhaust silencers are made from welded steel and are rated residential for more noise absorption. These silencers incorporate an expansion and multi pass section to attenuate the lower frequency sounds and a sound absorption section to attenuate the higher frequency sounds. Quietlife 116 Exhaust Silencers - 'High Attenuation'. The Quietlife 116 series of dry exhaust silencers are made from welded steel and are rated high attenuation for excellent noise absorption. These silencers incorporate a multiple pass section to smooth the gas flow and a sound absorption section to attenuate the higher frequency sounds and provide the best noise sound absorption performance of our three silencers. They are suitable where great sound attenuation is required and where space is available.
