21P1 R & D Marine Boat Engine Gearbox Damper Drive Plate

Fitted between the boat engine and the gearbox input shaft, a damper drive plate is designed to transmit the engine power to the gearbox, whilst reducing transmitted gear noise and providing a cushioned drive when selecting gear. All R and D Damper Drive plates include a 'failsafe' design.

Also called the Driven Plate, Damper Plate or Clutch Plate, the 21P1 Damper Drive Plate is from the R and D Loop element range. Common applications for the 21P1 drive plate include Ford and Perkins marine engines.

The technical details:
Spline: 18 teeth 12/24 DP (40.5mm diameter) for PRM 601, PRM 602 and PRM 1000 gearboxes.
Diameter of drive plate back plate which bolts to the engine flywheel: 298.5mm 11.75"
Back plate fixing holes: Multi hole back plate offering 6 x 8.1mm on 200mm PCD, 6 x 8.1mm on 250mm PCD, 6 x 8.1mm on 269.9mm PCD and 6 x 8.1mm on 273mm PCD.
Drive plate maximum thickness: 38.1mm (1.50")
Fitted with a type P loop element for 745 Nm 550 ft lb torque, the 21P1 drive plate can be mounted either round on the flywheel and rotated in either direction. This drive plate element will provide linear stiffness up to 3 degrees of deflection and is failsafe
