Description

16G2 Boat Engine Damper Drive Plate from R&D Marine

Fitted between the marine engine and the gearbox input shaft, a damper drive plate is designed to transmit the engine power to the gearbox, whilst reducing transmitted gear noise and providing a cushioned drive when selecting gear. All R and D Damper Drive plates include a 'failsafe' design.

Also called the Driven Plate, Damper Plate or Clutch Plate, this Damper Drive Plate is from the R and D range. Common applications for this drive plate include Ford Dorset & Dover 2700, 2710 & 2720 based engines.

The technical details:
Spline: 10 teeth SAE 1 1/8" (28.6mm diameter) for PRM 175, PRM 250, PRM 265 & PRM 310 gearboxes
Diameter of back plate which bolts to the engine flywheel: 362mm 14.25"
Back plate fixing holes: 6 x 8.1 on 200mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 210mm pcd,6 x 8.1 on 263mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 269.9mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 276.3mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 289mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 295.3mm pcd, 6 x 8.8 on 304.8mm pcd, 6 x 8.1 on 314.4mm pcd, 6 x 9.5 on 320.7mm pcd, 12 x 9.5 on 343mm pcd.
Drive plate maximum thickness: 35mm (1.38")
Fitted with the robust type G loop element for 340Nm 250 ftlb torque, which can be mounted either round on the flywheel and rotated in either direction. This drive plate element will provide linear stiffness up to 3 degrees of deflection and is failsafe.
